Here at Heath Cottage Hotel we are renowned for our excellent standards of both service and cuisine.

Evening restaurant

Our restaurant is available to both in house residents as well as non residents, and offers everything from a quick lunch to a romantic candlelit dinner for two - changing seasonally to in keep with the highest quality of locally sourced ingredients. The garden lounge provides ideal surroundings for any kind of meal - modern decor beautifully co existing amongst our original victorian features and art nouveau details. Our restaurant is open Monday-Saturday between 6.30-8.45pm, we ask if you would like to dine with us to make a reservation in advance to avoid dissapointment. Bar and Lounge

Our comfortable bar, lounge and patio area are available to both our residents and the public throughout the day. The welcoming bar boasts traditional surroundings with Victorian features, combined with a warm and friendly atmosphere to help you relax - whether it may be a quiet coffee after work or a glass of prosecco with friends. Functions at Heath Cottage

At Heath cottage Hotel we are able to tailor and cater our facilities for any function you may require, we have three function rooms consisting of our garden lounge, banquet room and Yorkshire lime's suite. They are able to hold between 1-70 people. We have a selection of menus to cater for your function these may include a formal sit down  (morning or afternoon ) or buffet style which may be needed to be taken into consideration when choosing how many guests you have. 

Weddings

Heath Cottage is an approved venue for civil marriage and partnership ceremonies, with a choice of rooms in which to cater for the smaller intimate wedding or larger parties, with up to 65 guests. In the evenings we can accommodate up to 100 guests.

We understand the importance of choosing the right venue for your special day, that is why we offer a personal and experienced team to assist you in the planning of your entire day. We will be pleased to advise you on your choice of menu, wine, seating arrangements and all other items that have to be organised on your special day.
Our aim is to make your wedding day, the most memorable occasion.

We suggest that a visit to the hotel is an essential prerequisite for you to fully appreciate the high standards of catering and dedicated service. Please book your appointment in advance so that we can ensure our wedding and function co-ordinator can be available to discuss your individual requirements.

Conference Facilities

We offer concise and practical conference facilities for up to 60 delegates. Our meeting room has retained all the character of the building and can accommodate every style of meeting from informal interview rooms, to board meetings and full residential conference events.

We can also offer the use of two of our larger bedrooms as converted syndicates for breakout rooms to enhance your meeting capabilities. The meeting room is situated on the ground floor and benefits from natural daylight. With complimentary Wi-Fi internet access for all attending delegates plus a selection of well maintained conference equipment we meet all the needs for today’s executive, whilst still offering the personal touch and reliable, professional service of a smaller hotel.

With 27 ensuite rooms and a fabulous restaurant and bar, Heath Cottage Hotel is the perfect base for any occasion, whether it be a weekend break to explore Yorkshire or an overnight business stay. Double/Twin room

• Our double and twin rooms offer accommodation for up to two guests, with either a double or two single beds. All of our double/twin rooms offer an en-suite bathroom, flat screen TV, freeview channels, hairdryer, free Wi-Fi and tea/coffee making facilities.
• We also offer executive double/twin rooms which are larger, have more floor space, a king size bed and vanity kit.

Single room

• Our single rooms offer accommodation for a solo guest with a single or small double bed*. All our single rooms offer an en-suite bathroom, flat screen TV, freeview channels,hairdryer, free Wi-Fi and tea/coffee making facilities.

Family room

• Our family rooms offer accommodation for 2 adults and a child, with a large double bed and a single bed. A 'z' bed can be added to the room to accommodate an extra child if needed. All of our family rooms offeran en-suite bathroom, flat screen TV, freeview channels, hairdryer, free Wi-Fi and tea/coffee making facilities.

Bridal suite

• Our only bridal suite offers accommodation for 2 adults, usually booked for a wedding or special occasion.With a king size bed and individually selected furniture we are sure that your stay will be a luxurious one. The bridal suite offers an en-suite bathroom, large flat screen TV, freeview channels, hairdryer, free Wi-Fi, tea/coffee making facilities and a dressing table with mirror.

Dewsbury is a charming minster town enhanced by its magnificent Victorian architecture. It is the largest town in the Heavy Woollen District of mill towns with a population of over 54,000. The town has a famous market with 400 stalls on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. It was voted "Britain's Best Market" in 2007.

Within a 10 minute drive is the lively town of Wakefield, where you will find excellent shopping facilities, museums, cinemas and much more besides. Alternatively head over to the city of Leeds which is around 30 minutes drive to discover large chain shopping, an array of restaurants, bars and history.
